Physicians must get registered with the medical council - so given the cost + time involved in this, visits of less than a month aren't helpful. Nurses have to also be registered - but the exam for this is only offered once a year in December. Medical students must commit to a minimum of 6 weeks to qualify for housing. Undergraduates aren't likely to be accepted without special skill set or project.
